Just got my wordpress fixed in time to post a blog for the New Year, I was trying to fix my site yesterday and it broke, I deleted the database for the blog, because I can’t log in to backup the said database, I used the SSH way to backup, but I didn’t read the instructions carefully so I missed to type in an extra line that didn’t backup the DB. I can’t log in to the site because of a friggin cookie. DAMN, when I already deleted the database that’s when I figure out that I need to delete the cookies. So when I woke up this afternoon I struggled to fix the blog back to it’s old state, it’s a good thing that I searched Google for a cache of the site today, because yesterday when I tried to search for the cache of the site it was dated 16 December, so I lost hope of re-posting the “A Merry Christmas!” blog that was posted on 25 December, good thing Google updated it today and they have the cache dated 26 December! Kudos to Google!
Since it’s New Year we should invoke change, that’s why New Year Resolutions are what we always hear from friends, I proposed to do what I call “Impossible Project” that I derived the title from http://www.the-impossible-project.com/ that reinvented the Polaroid Instant Film and revived it, mine is going to be on a diet and or exercise so that I’d be slim, I really need to do this since my brother is going to get married on October and I’m going to be his best man, therefore I have roughly 10 months for this project to reach it’s goal. You should also think of what change in yourself you could do to make things better for yourself and others. I will also try to do the “365 Project” that became a trend to photographers that started last year but since I didn’t have this site up yet on January this year I decided not to do it, but I was convinced to do it so that I could remember what happened during a certain day next year.
Happy New Year!
But before this year ends ask yourself this list of questions:
- What did you do that was worthwhile/productive this year?
- What did you learn about life this year?
- What changes have you done to be a better person this year?
- What are the top 5 bad events that happened to your life this year?
- What are the top 5 good events that happened to your life this year?
- What are you willing to change in your personality next year?
- What do you want to learn next year?
- What are the top 5 things you promise to do next year?
- What will you share with others next year?
- What are the things you want to achieve next year?
Again A Happy New Year to all!
